The James Dean Crush

Hello everyone :)
I saw yesterday an old movie with Elizabeth Taylor and James Dean..
The Giant!
Omg this movie was amazing... I'm still speechless..
It was a 3 hour movie but I wasn't tired at all..
Elizabeth Taylor was an amazing actress and when the movie started I almost forgot that James Dean also costarred in the film.. So the first half hour passed by without realizing that the best thing in my life was about to come.
The first scenes with Elizabeth Taylor and Rock Hudson were ok but when the camera showed the face of James Dean my heart stopped!
 He was so perfect!
His attitude, his face, his ass..
Was this butt for real?
I kept asking myself  but I got no answer..
This tough cowboy with his hat and his boots stole my heart.
Now I know why people get crazy for him.
So I haven't seen any movie with James Dean ever.. like ever..
I know this is unimaginable. So now I have downloaded every movie of him and I'm ready to get the Dean fever..

Hair Update

Hello everyone!
I know I haven't written anything in a while but I've been (and still am) super busy with exams. Which last for more than a month. We actually had our one month anniversary last week :D (me and the exams that is)
anyway, with 2 subjects left to go I'm feeling pretty excited!
But enough with that let's talk about hair!
A few days ago me and Gracie FINALLY decided to touch up our roots. But the bleaching didn't go so well. We are using 40vol developer with blue bleach. I know 40vol is really high and I wouldn't recommend using it when dying your hair yourself because it develops really fast! But the things is we bleached roots so many times and it approximately take us 5-7 min to cover a whole head of roots. anyway anyway
the point is the bleach must have been bad or something because it didn't bleach all the way on both of us!
So we were left with bright yellow roots :(
Which we will hopefully re bleach next month when bleaching the new growth... argh

Anyway, lately I've been adding purple to my pink hair creating this nice lilac effect:
I know the quality is crappy but I cant find my camera so... sorry!
as you can see the have this stupid effect where some areas of my hair are salmon and other lilac. And I just hate that, It doesn't show that well in the photos and when I find my camera I'll take better ones. But the reason I'm adding purple is to get rid of this salmon colors but the sides of my hair just wont take it!
Here I think you can see the salmon tones better. Note how different my bangs are in comparison with the hair on my sides. This happens because I used to have red hair, and I didn't completely bleach the red out. So no matter how much purple dye I'll add I just can't tone it.
So I ve been thinking of bleaching the salmon out, but I'm too afraid to ruin my hair. Of course if I use bleach I'll use really low developers, but maybe I'll use a lightened or something I'm not quiet sure, I'll have to research it first :S
And that was one with my hair curly .

So yeah. I really need your help guys, what is the best way to get rid of this stupid salmon tones that just won't leave my hair without damaging my hair too much??
Any help will be really appreciated :D

Hair Growth

The question remains..
How often I should bleach my hair??
I'm not quite sure cause my hair is not really damaged by bleaching.
In the past I was bleaching it once per month but now I've left my roots grow for 2,5 months..
I feel like it's not that awful to have roots although people ask me if I'm growing my hair.
Others tell me that I'm gonna totally destroy my hair if I keep bleaching it!
That's beyond rude.. cause my hair is not even damaged..
So besides bleaching I've also stopped coloring my hair..
I don't know why but this shade of blue makes more sense to me.
But this week I'm going to say goodbye to my roots.
So does hair grow faster if you don't bleach it every month??

Guest Post-Be your Valentine

Hello everyone! Today we are inviting the lovely Tiff Ima from Style Honestly over! She is sharing her thoughts on valentine's. But this dress and I'm also in love with her hair combined with the big bows. You should go check her out!

February is the month where every couple parades their coupley-ness around every corner of every state, of every city and county. Hand holding, public kissing, red and pink hearts EVERYWHERE! The single ladies of the world are forced to witness these sweet little expressions of love and end up just plain bitter.
It doesn't have to be that way.

Love is not limited to the cute little couples that walk around with their hands interlaced. Love is for family, friends, and...you!

This year I plan to take advantage of that fact and spread the love around by baking some Valentine's cookie like these I found on pinterest:

(Okay so maybe I won't get this fancy, but I'll do a little something)

So this year, throw on a red or hot pink dress, some lovely heels and hit the town! Be your own Valentine and buy yourself some roses, and hand out those cute little Valentine's and candy to your close friends and family.
